Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, Palmerston North Hospital

Women’s Health at MidCentral has gone through exciting changes in the last five years. We are now a truly multidisciplinary team working together in improvement and innovation with a focus on the best possible outcomes for women, babies and families in our community and on the MidCentral’s values “Compassionate, Respectful, Courageous and Accountable”. Among the achievements in the last years are significant decreases in Caesarean Section rates and the establishment of an efficient one-stop-shop post-menopausal bleeding clinic. 

We have recently successfully appointed following a retirement and are now looking for a specialist to join our obstetrics and gynaecology service in a full time capacity (1FTE) to take up newly established FTE.  This role will suit either a newly qualified or an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a range of generalist skills. The ideal applicant will also have a special interest in obstetrics and obstetric ultrasound. If you have an interest in research there are great possibilities at MidCentral.
